I once listened to a quote that said motivation is not what you need, rather you need commitment and disciple.
When I was 25 year old I wrote my first 5 year plan ever. It was categorised into overall vision, personal, career, health, spiritual and financial goals.
I was so engrossed in reading about these characters spectacular life that I spent all my time just doing that…I wasn’t hanging with friends…I wasn’t writing my own story…I wasn’t even focusing on my work, my career and my startup.
I had stopped moving
Therefore, the fundamental truth about financial literacy I want to share is not a fancy excel sheet (been there done that) but the discipline and consistency to stick with your financial strategy and guidelines.
